Sometimes I think I have a little too much time on my hands. I'm still laughing.

Relief print

Stay weird, baby.
Reductive print on some stonehenge.

A one off print I made the other day. I was just dicking around with some lino blocks I had lying around. Relief is cooler than I remembered.

This is a Bruce Willis portrait I started a few days ago at the request of a pal. This has been too much fun. Almost done, obviously still in progress. Still need to fix some stuff.  Will post a pic of the finished portrait!

In the meantime, respect yourself.

Cool Pumpkin, dude.

Pencil crayon, gouache and acrylic. Small new piece.

" ...There is one pumpkin you cannot beat, the pumpkin inside." - Burroughs

Lots of cool upcoming stuff for me. I will be tabling at the Broken Arts Fair which is being held in March of 2012. I'm really excited about it as the last one was a blast. Also in the new year, I will be involved in a collaborative project with my very good friend, Sarah Felgemacher. More on the details of that later.

"It works everytime."
Gouache and pencil crayon.

Gouache is kinda cool. We take it one day at a time. Working on making some handprinted christmas cards soon. Cleaned out my print portfolio and found some crucial A.P's. Might post them soon. The basement is freezing today, but it's really nice to have a space to work without interruption.

Soundtracked 22

This is a poster I made for a wicked show that's happening in Oshawa on the 26th. It's being put on by my good friends Broken Arts. Odonis Odonis is playing and if you haven't heard them already, I highly suggest that you check 'em out because they are super gnar.

While I'm at it, this is another poster I made for a previous Soundtracked show for Broken Arts.

More Macho

These are some drawings I'm putting in the Macho Man art show, which is in like two weeks or something at The White House gallery. The original drawings I had in mind were ripped to kingdom come during one of my many moves. No big deal. These are pretty cool too. In fact, I even like them better.

While hunting for the originals, I came across the last copy of  theWWF Wrestlers zine that I made a few years back. It was always my intention to do a Volume 2 but it sort of fell to the way-side, and now more than ever with my wrestling tape collection growing and making all this Macho Man art, I feel that it's necessary. And especially since I missed tabling at Canzine this past Sunday, my heart's been pining for some quality zine'ing time. Seems I've got crucial book-making to do.

Amazing

Make drawings you have no recollection of. Stay wasted.

Today

I am out of paint, so this is what's up.

New painting: Bart takes issue

Acrylic 8x10

Some Nu's.

Working on the cover of Broken Arts: Now or Never first issue. Featuring the faces of the late, incomparable Strange Peaks. Also doing the zine's cd insert featuring all the Strange Peaks recordings. With any luck at all, this will all be done by tonight and I'll have it posted here in a couple of days, along with a few stupid drawings I've done here and there in the past few weeks. I haven't really been up to much drawing wise since the end of the summer turned out to be rather enjoyable and full of fun shit to do. Little bummed that I didn't use the time to work on my new zines but what the hell, y'know.

My favourite season approaches and this means a few things. For one, it's time to start pulling out the ugly sweaters. Two, Fall means that I can hibernate which therefore means that it's time for my annual Roseanne marathon. Three, I am usually super productive and full of good vibes and ideas.

More soon.
